Repository Services
Each repository needs to provide an interface for harvesting of metadata records. We propose to use OAI-PMH. This provides a standard interface via HTTP for the harvesting of metadata in a standard format, and each repository can use standard open source tools to provide this interface.
The information on the candidate repositories used in the Claddier includes details of the OAI-PMH interface provided.
Currently, will provide this as a REST interface.
